Case 2: This patient presented with 3 missing molars and several old, worn out crowns.
Her treatment: She replaced the two missing teeth on one side with individual implants and crowns (the unrestored implants are visible in this photo) and replaced the missing one on the other side with a fixed porcelain bridge. She opted for a bridge on the left side instead of having another implant ({shown on the right here}) since both the tooth in front of and behind the missing tooth were already crowns that needed to be replaced. This restored her entire arch. Hers was a combination of (A) new crowns on front and back teeth, as well as (B) single implant crowns replacing back teeth, and (C) a three-unit porcelain fixed bridge on the other side.
Final, with lips retracted.
Final, lower arch.
Final, smile.
