Patient presented with two missing teeth and bone loss resulting from a car accident that knocked them out, along with quite a bit of bone around the roots. Bone grafting was necessary in this case, so we grafted bone and she wore a removable partial/flipper for a few months while it healed and then we placed two implants and crowns.
Pre-treatment – occlusal view. This shows the bony defect right where the implants need to be for good esthetics.
Bony ridge 7 months after the bone graft. It’s filled in nicely and there is plenty of room for proper position and placement of the implants.
Ridge exposed and ready for implants.
Implants placed into newly grown bone.
Implants 3 months after placement.
X-ray of implants 3 months after placement.
Final implant crowns in place, occlusal view.
Final implant crowns; Smile!
