The patient had a diastema (gap) between her front teeth which she found unaesthetic.
The teeth were cleaned and an impression made in order to fabricate a unique type of veneer. This design does not require shaving of the natural teeth at all.
These are the paper-thin veneers tried in the mouth before delivery. They are very technically challenging to fabricate because the edges have to fade and blend in with the rest of the tooth.
The veneers were then adhesively bonded to the teeth and finished. The result is a gap that is closed conservatively and naturally, while still allowing for good oral hygiene.
